With the help of community members like you, we raised over $400 to benefit survivors of human trafficking at our 2019 Holiday Pop-Up Shop in Lee’s Summit. A dozen local businesses, including A Lady’s Accessories, came together this December to showcase products and fundraise for a good cause.
Attendees also bought raffle tickets for their chance to win wonderful prizes from our vendors. This included two sets of color street polish from Bonne Vivante and a $20 gift certificate to April’s Blissful Beauty Collection.

There was even a surprise in store for the event’s organizers when Fox 4 visited. The news station shined a light on the pop-up shop and how human trafficking impacts the Kansas City area.
The event raised money and awareness for the Restoration House. This nonprofit offers comprehensive care for adult women and minors who are survivors of human trafficking. Food, shelter, and job skills training are all parts of the rehabilitation process for RH. Learn more about how you can help, including volunteering and supporting their capital campaign.
If you missed the 2019 Holiday Pop-Up Shop, you can always visit A Lady’s Accessories online. 60% of all proceeds at A Lady’s Accessories go to charities, particularly those that educate and empower women.
